Definition: Resettlement Support is helping people moving into accommodation

Resettlement support is usually given to assist people move from temporary accommodation to more permanent housing. Help can be given with claiming benefits, filling in forms, getting furniture and furnishings, and using household appliances etc. This type of support is usually for a relatively short period of time.
