Communities Scotland
Definition: Communities Scotland maintains the Register of social landlords
Communities Scotland is the Scottish Executive's housing and regeneration agency. It maintains a register of social landlords, mainly housing associations, and sets entry criteria for the register. Registered Social Landlords (RSL's) are subject to annual audit by Communities Scotland. The Register is a public one, and anyone can obtain the contact details, legal status, and the authorities in which they operate.
