Chronic Illness
Definition: Chronic illness is a disease or disorder that progresses slowly and lasts a long time.
A chronic illness is a disease or disorder of slow progression and long duration which causes continuous or episodic periods of incapacity. Examples of chronic illnesses are arthritis, asthma, chronic heart disease, chronic bronchitis, HIV and diabetes. Some people with chronic illness may require housing support.
