Supported housing services for any/other people who need housing support in Scotland
Many housing support services are simply for anybody who needs support to live independently at home, rather than for any specific type of person. These services will therefore also be available to people who do fit our 'client group' categories, namely: older people, people with mental health problems, people with learning disabilities, people with physical disabilities, people with HIV / AIDS, people with alcohol problems, people with drug problems, offenders and ex-prisoners, women escaping domestic violence, single homeless people, homeless families, refugees, young people, people with multiple disadvantages and people with sensory impairments.
There are also a few housing support services and supported housing settings that are for client groups not in our list. These are usually for people with a specific disability or medical condition which requires the way in which support is provided to be tailored to their specific needs.
